Redefining the Future of Dialysis

Once the gold standard, the interface of a leading dialysis system set the benchmark for its time. But as technology advanced, competitors began to outpace it, not in clinical capability, but in digital experience. What was once iconic no longer stood apart.

This called for more than an upgrade. It demanded a bold leap.

With a vision to reimagine the next 30–40 years of dialysis care, a global healthcare leader partnered with frog to explore new frontiers. Together, we defined a strategic North Star, conducted in-depth global user research, and reimagined the Human-Machine Interface from the ground up, integrating forward-looking concepts shaped by emerging AI capabilities.

From early concepts to foundational interaction design, the work evolved alongside a full-fledged design system built from scratch. What began as a component library grew into a scalable, coded foundation for the new interface and future products.

This was not just a redesign, but a transformation, marking a new era for the organisation and an opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare technology.
