Supplier Experience Transformation

A global energy organisation faced increasing friction in its procurement ecosystem. Suppliers were forced to navigate fragmented tools, complex workflows, and inconsistent experiences, eventually impacting trust and willingness to collaborate.

This called for a fundamental shift.

Partnering with frog, the organisation set out to define a bold North Star vision for a unified supplier portal, reimagining a seamless, future-ready procurement experience. The initial phase focused on exploring what could be possible beyond current constraints.

Translating this vision into reality proved challenging due to legacy system limitations, a complex SAP-based backend, and deeply embedded data structures. Following the North Star, key applications were prioritised and redesigned in iterative sprints.

Continuous global user validation helped refine the experience, while AI-driven features introduced smarter, more intuitive workflows. In parallel, close collaboration with development teams ensured feasibility and smooth handover throughout.

The impact extended beyond the initial scope, leading to multiple follow-on phases and new opportunities, driven by the value delivered and strengthened partnership.
